The Institute of Social Communication (ISC), is committed to training experts and professionals in the field of journalism & communication. Integrating both theoretical and practical expertise, we train professionals to serve the main stream media, church media, educational institutions, health care and in the field of social development promoting evangelization, democracy, peace building and community development through modern and traditional means of communication in Africa. Multi-cultural in nature, our Institute has students from all different parts of the world\'s.
Rooted in Christ’s mission and guided by the teachings of the Church, the Institute of Social Communication of Tangaza University College treasures the relevance of communication for Evangelization, Inculturation, and Social Transformation in Africa and beyond with particular attention to community development, peace building, youth ministry, and to the cultural challenges brought about by rural-urban migration and globalization.
1. To teach students about the cultural, social, and moral challenges caused by the modern means of communication in African societies, both rural and urban.
2. To train professionals in the field of social communication, integrating theoretical knowledge and practical expertise.
3. To form students to become competent communication personnel to serve in diocesan offices, educational institutions, health care and development projects.
